After I read the questionnaire that Tiffanie and Elley Tipton filled out before their styled shoot with Lily, I realized I was at a loss for words. What could I possibly say that would engulf a chemistry so evident in the pictures that Lily took? Well, I’m in awe. All I can hope is to make you, dear reader, feel the same.
What started as a new job for Tiffanie in Elley’s daycare, turned into something magical. A relationship so deeply rooted in trust and love that it was undeniable to them that they would stay together forever.
Now, almost five years after their marriage, Elley and Tiffanie were able to relive that special moment that so obviously filled them with tenderness. (Fun fact: they actually both wore purple at their wedding!)
They even got to relive their first dance as a married couple by dancing to their song “Spend my life with you” by Eric Benet.
Truthfully, it was embedded in the way they embraced and looked at each other.
It spoke of movie nights spent together. Of fun adventures spent with family and friends, who I read are “the BEST!”
Of inside jokes like Elley’s bubbly and kind personality reminding Tiffanie of Disney’s Mary Poppins.
But above all, and despite being complete opposites, it spoke volumes about the deep and sincere companionship they share.
A very special shoutout to all the wonderful hardworking vendors that made this styled shoot possible and a success:
To Marcey Mertens from Wishflour Bakery for making the scrumptious cakes (eye this delicious coconut cream cake.)
To Kelsey Ott from Mainstreet Bridal for letting us borrow the lovely dresses and veil used in the shoot.
To Amberlee Gandy and her team from Tiger Garden for designing and preparing the exquisite floral decorations.
To Anna Clemens from Hair by Anna for helping our models look and feel amazing.
To Nichole Ward from Makeup Undefined for also helping our models look and feel their best.
To Jessica Puhr of J Puhr Photography for photographing the second "couple" who so generously offered to model for us.
To Bayli Tilley from Solid Ground Event Planning for helping the day run smoothly.
To Andrea Lyn Seppo and Mercedez Waters of CoMo Picnics for the wonderful setup design that tied everything together.
To Devin Weindel from the Columbia Country Club because, what would a photo shoot be without a lovely location?!
To Kaeshav Kumar (Lily’s Partner) for the videography.
And finally, but certainly not least to Elley + Tiffanie Tipton for allowing us to capture their story.
