As the October month chugged along, Andrea and Mike Benedict took a step to preserve a precious moment in time. A moment that was joyfully celebrated by their closest friends and family, but that also included enough private instances for Andrea and Mike to share for the rest of their lives.
The wedding ceremony took place at the New Town Chapel in St. Charles, Missouri, which was shortly followed by a wedding reception hosted at O' Day Lodge in O' Fallon, Missouri.
There was something very warm-toned about everything, and I’m not just talking about the wedding colors which quite prettily centered around sunflowers. No, there was something like milk and honey, rich and sweet.
Maybe it was the smiles, laughter, or tears of joy that surrounded and overtook Andrea, Mike, and their families.
Or maybe it was the happy couple dancing in the street to the beat of their own drum.
Or capturing Mike and Andrea as they recreate the memory of an embrace in a phone booth.
Whatever it was, it was heartwarming and romantic and we still can’t get over the sheer emotion that poured out of Mike when he set eyes on Andrea as she walked down the aisle to the sound of "You're Simply the Best" from Schitt's Creek.
Andrea and Mike expressed their love the best, “You’re my favorite”.
