Chelbie and Kara had the sweetest summer engagement session at The Muny in St. Louis, Missouri. Everything from the location to the embroidered hoop with their wedding date was very meaningful. With the perfect scenery and immaculate vibes, this session was a dream!
I love when a couple chooses a location that reflects their relationship, and that’s exactly what Chelbie and Kara did. They chose The Muny for their engagement session because it has a special place in their hearts. Every show they have seen there, has been together. AND they chose their outfits to reflect that, including matching shirts with a quote from one of the shows.
Speaking of outfits… Can we talk about theirs? I am obsessed with them. The subtle color coordination in all of the outfits is *chefs kiss*. They also had matching rainbow tennis shoes for two of their outfits, which I love so much I might get a pair for myself! They both looked incredible from head to toe and were glowing for this shoot.
One of my favorite details from this session was the embroidered hoop with their wedding date on it. They had a friend make it for them, which makes it all the more sweet. I already love embroidery alone, but add your wedding date and having someone close to you make it.. ALL the heart eyes.
When Chelbie and Kara were asked what their ideal date night would look like, they both answered the same: they want to be cuddled up on the couch, next to their person, and eating some food. I live for at home date nights, they are underrated in my opinion, but so intimate to just spend time close to the person you love most.
Chelbie and Kara are getting married in the summer of 2023. The ceremony will be held at The White Owl in Wright City, Missouri. The venue has a private lake and dock that will make for even more dreamy pictures to have forever. They can not wait to celebrate their love and all the intimate moments like walking down the aisle, first looks, and, of course, their first dance as a married couple.
